2024 Campaign

March 4 - April 1, 2024

Project Details

  • Donation locations: Donation bins at various businesses and community partners. These bins will have posters affixed to them, outlining the purpose and what we’re looking for. Our members will be able to donate clothes during the lunch meeting of March 5th and dinner meeting of March 19th.
  • Member participation: Collecting donations from bins in the community and taking donations to be cleaned at a laundromat on designated days.

 

Donations Needed:
  • Type of clothing: New or gently used, appropriate for teenagers.
  • Sizes: XXS – 5X.
  • Other items that will be appreciated: Backpacks, belts, shoes, etc.

The Giving Tree: November 4th – December 8th 2023

The Eugene Active 20-30 club is excited to once again be doing the Giving Tree at the Valley River Center. For 2023, the tree will be up starting Saturday, November 4th and gifts need to be returned by Friday, December 8th.

2024 is the inaugural year for the Clothes for Kids campaign! This project’s goal is to gather clothing donations to be distributed among local high schools in Eugene and Springfield, for students in need to have access to free clothing.
